Gamma Cygni and surroundings


Details

Gamma Cygni, also called Sadr, ist the bright star left to the center of the image. Even more left is the well known Butterfly Nebula IC1318. The whole area is covered with emission nebula, reflection nebula, stars clusters and dark lanes of dust. It is one of the most beautiful areas of the nothern milkyway.
