NGC 3372 Carina Nebula Hubble Palette


Details

NGC 3372 or Eta Carina Nebula or simply Carina Nebula, is an emission nebula in the constellation of Carina. The picture was taken through narrowband filters and combined in a manner called Hubble Palette, named after the famous space telescope. Sulfur (SII) is mapped to red, Hydrogen (Ha) is mapped to green and Oxygen (OIII) is mapped to blue.
