NGC 2244 Rosette Nebula


Details

NGC 2244 the Rosette Nebula is a beautiful star forming region located in the constellation of Monoceros. The extensions in north and east direction are part of a much larger structure caled the Monoceros Loop. This is a large Supernova Remnant.
