NGC 6250

Details

NGC 6250 is a relatively unknown Starcluster in the Constellation of Ara. It lies in some dense dark clouds, not far from NGC6188, the fighting dragons of Ara.
Some blueish reflection nebulae is visible and a small HII-region called Gum 54. I have noticed a strange looking star cluster at the right edge of the image. First I thought about some processing artifacts. But this cluster is Westerlund 1. It contains some very red stars. Other star clusters in the field of view are NGC 6216, NGC 6249 and NGC 6259.
