IC 410 Tadpoles


Details

IC 410 is an emission nebula in the constellation of Auriga. Two objects Simeis 129 and Simeis 130 within the nebula look like tadpoles. The open cluster within the nebula is NGC 1893. This image was a test for the SBIG STT8300 camera and was published at the the Baader Planetarium website. The colors where mixed in the so called Bi-Color method named after astrophotographer Steve Cannistra.
