Horsehead Nebula B33
Details
Barnard 33 the Horsehead Nebula, is a dark nebula that blocks the light of a large HII emission nebula and forms a silhouette shaped like a horse head. The HII nebula is IC 434. Also visible is NGC 2024, called the Flame Nebula, near the star Alnitak (zeta orionis). I love b&w Ha images, they look like fineart. Maybe one day i add some color to the image.
The image was taken during full moon. It is the last image i did with this gear, cause unfortuantely it was stolen completly the same year. This almost ended the hobby for me, but i recovered from my loss.
