IC 2602 The Southern Plejades
Details
IC 2602 also called The Southern Plejades, is an open star cluster in the constellation of Carina. The cluster contains mainly B-Type stars, hence the blueish color. Slightly to the south another open cluster is visible, Melotte 101, which is far more distant and older than IC 2602.
