Great Orion Nebula M42
Details
M42, or The Great Orion Nebula, or just Orion Nebula, is one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful galactic nebula in the night sky. As a child, I always imagined the Orion Nebula in delicate shades of pink and blue, shimmering slightly over the neighbor’s house. After all, the gas nebula looked very large and colorful in pictures in the books I read at the time. Only then did I realize that this nebula can only be seen in photographs. In my imagination, this moment was the decisive factor in getting involved with astrophotography.
