Nebulae in Orion

Details

The constellation of Orion is maybe one of the most frequently photographed constellations of the winter nightsky. In this 200mm shot you can see some of the objects, that makes it so much fun to shoot. The Orion Nebula or M42 on the upper right of the image, the Horsehead Nebula and Flame Nebula in the center, and M78 at the bottom left. You also can see large clouds of dust in that area, as well as some faint reflection nebulae. On the bottom left you see just a small portion of a giant loop of hydrogen gas, called Barnards Loop.
