NGC 2547
Details
NGC 2547 is an open cluster in the constellation of Vela, discovered by Nicolas Louis de Lacailles. The cluster shows some young blue stars, as well as some refection nebula. Although the cluster is close to the prominent Vela SNR and the field is covered with gas and dust, some galaxies can be found in the field.
