M24 Sagittarius Star Cloud


Details

M24 is neither an interstellar nebula nor a star cluster , it is more like a window into the milkyway which is not affected much by galactic extinction. Though with the naked eye it looks like a nebula. Other objects in the field of view are: Barnard 307, Sh2-41, Sh2-40,NGC 6603, Sh2-39, NGC 6567, IC 1283/84 and VdB 118/119.
