Lagoon and Trifid Nebula FSQ106

Details

The Lagoon Nebula (M8) and the Trifid Nebula (M20) are both in the constellation Sagittarius. While these gas nebulae only rise a few degrees above the horizon in Europe, they can be photographed comfortably at their zenith from Namibia. This image shows a high resolution widefield taken with my Takahashi FSQ106 Astrograph and QHY600M Camera.
